Managing The Heart Valve Patient:
How to do it
The Mulu Rafflesia Heart Valve Symposium is now into its 7th happening. This time round we shall be looking at how to manage the heart valve patient holistically, taking into consideration new technologies and innovations.
As there is much ground to cover, we have published a book which will be launched at this Symposium. Participants will be able, in their own time, to reconnect with the deliberations by referring to the book. This book takes on an innovative, novel approach whereby PowerPoint slides and videos can be accessed while reading the text in the book. You have to attend this meeting to know where we are headed with this approach!
Interested? If so, please feel free to email us for more information if desired. For those who are familiar with this symposium, you can register on-line. Please take note that this symposium is limited to a total of 100 serious minded participants who will stay the whole duration of the meeting (20 – 24th November) and will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Format of Symposium
The following format will be adopted:
- Lectures on what is currently being adopted and practised in Asia will be presented. Industry leadership will also be presenting information on what they are up to in the region.
- Show-and-Tell provides an avenue for innovative surgeons to share their endeavours.
- The Wet-lab session will address problems pertaining to the largely neglected tricuspid valve.
- The area that makes this meeting unique is its smallness and the opportunity for intimate interaction among professionals and the industry, throughout the duration of the symposium.
